Christine "Queen" Lacy's Obituary
December 31, 1948, in Hinds County, Mississippi, John and Luerena Lacy brought forth a beautiful treasure they named Christine (affectionately known as "Queen"). She was the first-born of seven precious treasures.
Christine was educated in the Clinton Public School System graduating from Sumner Hill High School in 1966. She was a dedicated and faithful employee at the Mississippi Department of Agriculture until she retired.
Christine was baptized at an early age at Norman Chapel M.B. Church under the leadership of Reverend Barnes. She later joined New Mt. Calvary Christian Center under the leadership of Apostle John E. Williams, Sr. She loved being in the service of the Kingdom of God and did it with the grace of a true "Queen".
On the evening of Saturday, May 3, 2025, our beloved Queen' heard and answered the call of THE KING, sending angelic escorts to bring her to be with HIM, her parents and other loved ones who transitioned from time to eternity before her.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory one brother: John Bubba Lacy. Jr: five sisters: Sara Claxton, Hazel Hughes, Alberta (Hays) Johnson, Emily (Earnest) Roberts, Velma Lacy and a multitude of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
