BIRTH
On July 8, 1951, Doroitha was born to Mae Helen Hobson. At a young age, Doroitha was blessed to live with her grandmother Mrs. Mamie Hobson. Doroitha affectionately called her "Mama."
EDUCATION
Doroitha Hobson attended the Madison County Public School System.
CHURCH
At a young age, Doroitha became a member of the Christian Union M B Church. Prior to COVID-19, Doroitha attended church regularly and faithfully.
FAMILY
Doroitha is preceded in death by her mother, Mae Helen Hobson Aldridge; one brother Timothy Aldridge, devoted grandmother, Mrs. Mamie Hobson; and a devoted aunt, Mrs. Daisy Hobson Harris. Doroitha is survived by two brothers, Frank Aldridge Jr. of Australia and Ezekiel Aldridge (Patricia) of Jackson, MS; two sisters, Tanya Washington and Bennie Washington, both of Jackson, MS; one uncle, L. C. Hobson, Sr.; a caring cousin, Stella Harris; a caring friend, Mrs. Callie Travis; and a host of other relatives and friends.
