Edna Ervin Oliver's Obituary
Edna Oliver was born in Jackson, Mississippi, to Edmond and Mary Ervin. She grew up in the Jackson community. Her siblings, all preceding her in death, were Christella Moore, Willie Gates, Jimmy Ervin, Lucius Ervin, Evern Harper, and Napoleon Ervin.
Edna was dedicated worker who later became an entrepreneur through her consistent hard work growing and selling vegetables from her garden. Cooking and helping other in numerous ways allowed her to give back to the community.
Edna Oliver is survived by her beloved daughter Chantry Ashford and son-in-law Willie of Jackson, Mississippi; three grandchildren, Korrie, Jordan, and Justin Ashford; one brother, Luke Ervin; four sisters, Lula Mitchell, Pastor Everleener Goodin (William), Annettte Ervin, and Stephanie Ervin; a host of nieces and nephews; and other relatives who will sincerely miss her.
