Sharon Mosley Dixon's Obituary
Sharon Mosley-Dixon was born on June 25, 1966, in Jackson, MS to James Mosley and the late Gladys Mosley. Sharon was reared by a loving father, Lewis Cromwell. She was the youngest of five siblings.
Sharon was educated at THEE 833 Bulldog Nation, Lanier High School where she graduated in the Class of1984. She loved her school and often spoke highly of the Bulldogs. She went on to attend Hinds Community College.
Sharon gave her life to Christ at Greater Fairview Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. S.L. Spann. Later, she rededicated her life to the Lord at Wilson Grove M.B. Church under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Roosevelt Barrett.
Sharon was a hard worker and always had a heart to serve others. She was employed at Walmart and Fred's. She enjoyed spending time with her girls, grandson, C], family, watching wrestling, Korean drama, and western movies. She enjoyed dancing, telling jokes, and singing. She loved making people laugh. Her contagious smile and laughter will definitely be missed. Although Sharon had health issues, she never once complained. She would always say, "I'm going to be alright," She kept a positive attitude throughout her illness.
On July 9, 2005, Sharon married the love of her life, Clifton Eugene Dixon. Although they were married on that date, Clifton and Sharon were together 31 years when he passed away.
Sharon answered the master's call on September 24, 2025, at her home with her daughter Shaunnaqua by her side.
Sharon leaves to cherish her memories: three (3) loving and devoted daughters: Shaunnaqua Mosley, April Mosley, and Ashley (Christopher Sr.) Corentin all of Jackson, MS; one (1) grandson: Christopher (C)) Corentin Jr.; two (2) sisters: Vannessa (Earnest) Green of Terry, MS and Janice (Ben) Heard of Byhalia, MS; one (1) brother: Ronnie Mosley of Jackson, MS; a loving mother-in-law: Nellie Dixon of Vaughn, MS; a bonus brother: Clyde Burns of Jackson, MS; two (2) god-children: Daimon Hampton and Sariya Johnson; seven (7) sisters-in-law, four (4) brothers-in-law, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Sharon was preceded in death by her loving husband: Clifton E. Dixon; mother, Gladys Mosley; sister, Linda Powell; father-in-law, Rev. Jim A. Dixon Jr.; mother-in-law, Ella Dora Powell; and brothers-in-law, Jeff Powell and Alex Dixon.
