Tommy Lee Alexander's Obituary
Mr. Tommy Lee Alexander Sr. was born on November 12, 1960, to the late Mr. Tom Robinson Jr. and Mrs. Essie M. Alexander. He peacefully departed this life on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, Mississippi.
Tommy accepted Christ at an early age and united with Mt. Elizabeth M.B. Church in Bolton, Mississippi. His faith remained a guiding force throughout his life. He attended Hinds County Public Schools and graduated from Hinds Agricultural High School.
Tommy was a dedicated and hardworking man who took great pride in his work. He faithfully served at Mississippi College for 39 years before retiring and continued to work at Pinehaven Presbyterian Church in Clinton, Mississippi, where he devoted 31 years of service until his passing. His commitment, integrity, and kind spirit left a lasting impression on everyone he encountered.
Tommy Lee Alexander was called home to rest alongside his parents, Mr. Tom Robinson Jr. and Mrs. Essie M. Alexander; his eldest brother, Cornelius Roger Alexander Jr.; one brother-in-law, Alonzo Lee Moore; three sisters, Helen Alexander, Velma Barber, and Burnie Robinson; and one grandchild, Bradley Alexander.
He leaves to cherish his precious memory his devoted wife of 38 years, Mrs. Chandra Alexander of Bolton, Mississippi; four sons, Tommy D. (Brittney) Nichols of Jackson, MS, Tommy Jr. (A'Mariah) Alexander of Dallas, TX, Dontrae (Deidre) Alexander of Lafayette, IN, and Micheal Alexander of Bolton, MS; one daughter, Casandra (Devonate) Alexander of Byram, MS; and one daughter-in-law, Tyuanna Hardy of Forest, MS.
Tommy's legacy continues through his fifteen grandchildren, four sisters, six brothers, one aunt, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends who will forever cherish his memory.
Mr. Tommy Lee Alexander will be remembered for his unwavering faith, loving heart, and the joy he brought to everyone who knew him. His life was a testament to hard work, devotion, and love for family and God.
