One Friday last year, I was feeling down after work. When I got home, I decided to make a reel and called it “Fridays are for Dancing”. Dancing is one of my happy places and it brightened up my Friday evening. Ms. Green came up to me at work that following Monday saying how she wasn’t feeling well and seeing me dancing lifted her spirits. From that point on every Friday she’d asked me if I was going to dance. I skipped one Friday and she told me to never skip another Friday because she looked forward to seeing me. At that point, we went from being coworkers to becoming friends. She reminded me every week that Friday was coming and she couldn’t wait to see what song and dance I’d be posting. Ms. Green was one of a kind with a truly beautiful soul. Her smile would light up a room and she always had a positive word to lift someone’s spirits. You’ll truly be missed, Ms. Green.
