Willie Lee Beals' Obituary
Wille Lee Beals was born on August 27, 1949 in Madison, MS to the late Mr. Will Beals and the late Willie Mac McGowan.
Mr. Willie "Eagleboy" Beals lived a life filled with faith, family, hard work, and love. He was known for his wisdom, kindness, quiet strength, and values he passed down through generations.
Willie grew up in the Pocahontas and Virden Addition Community. Willie was educated in the Jackson Public School District and attended Brinkley High School.
Throughout his life, Willie was a dedicated employee of the Hinds County Emergency Operations Center for 35 years. Prior to that, he worked as a skilled brick mason, a craft he took great pride in. Willie was always committed to doing his best and setting a strong example for those around him. Beyond his work, he found joy in watching wester television shows, cheering on his beloved JSU football team, fishing, golfing, and listening to the blues. Most of all, he treasured every moment shared with his family.
He leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion, and he is survived by his devoted loving wife; Carolyn D. Beals, one son; Derrick (Darrilyn) Beals, two granddaughters; Ashley and Alydra Beals, two great-grandchildren; Casey Kelly, Jr. and Mekhi Turner, one brother; Robert (Shirley) Tyler, one sister; Annie Tyler. He also leaves to cherish his memory a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends who will forever carry him in their hearts.
He was preceded in death by his loving daughter; Angela Beals, three brothers; Charles Tyler, Percy Tyler, and Bobby Tyler, one sister; Katie Coleman.
